About Us...

Lazy H Arena is owned and operated by the Hollingworth Family on the outskirts of
Valleyview, Alberta, Canada. Our facility is equipped with a 100” x 220” indoor riding arena,
as well as an outdoor arena. Our facility is set up for livestock handling events such as roping,
penning, and cutting. Our most common events include Barrel Racing, Cutting, Penning, Team
Roping, High School Rodeo, and Heavy Horse Pulls. We host a variety of horsemanship clinics
all year round with trainers such as Mel Hyland, and Jeff Schwitzer.

Our facilities also include an attached barn, where we offer year round boarding or traveler
boarding packages. There is also a tack store with anything from hoof picks & halters to
saddles and collectables. We have accomodations on site for trainers, and offer camping space
to event goers. In the arena, there is a shower, kitchen area and lunch room, wireless internet
and of course satellite T.V.

During events such as cutting events, we provide a View Your Ride, and upon request provide
photographers.

Livestock events such as roping, we have trained cattle and provide livestock handling if so
required.

Lazy H Arena is located 12 km south (on hwy 43) of Valleyview and east 3 km on twp rd 690.
